The National Mortgage Company (NMC) was established in 2009 by the Central Bank of Armenia to enhance liquidity, stability, and the development of Armenia’s mortgage market, as well as to improve access to housing finance for the population. In recent years, NMC has aligned its operations with sustainable development goals and became the first Armenian issuer of Eurobonds fully compliant with ICMA green bond standards. NMC plays a key role in shaping Armenia’s mortgage market through legislative and regulatory initiatives and mortgage instruments.
